» Feature Writer Alan L. Hammond - Luke Donald

Donald found a way to get back in the mix with a chip in at the 8th.

» Feature Writer Alan L. Hammond - Does anyone else have what it takes?

As I sit here watching the tournament, hoping someone makes a game of it, I begin to doubt it will happen. Past history has dictated that when Tiger is at/near the top, others fall away. If anyone else wins, it will be one of the younger players.

» Feature Writer Alan L. Hammond - Goosen

As I wrote the last post, Goosen drops in a birdie to get back in a tie for the lead.

» Feature Writer Alan L. Hammond - Today seems to be "moving around" day

Leaping into the lead seems to be the order of the day. Sabbatini gets into the mix with an eagle jump to the top on nine.

» Feature Writer Alan L. Hammond - Goosen

Not to wish him any ill will, I think he's a fantastic guy, but how much longer can Goosen keep up the great scoring? He's only hit two of eight greens today.

» Feature Writer Alan L. Hammond - Legitimate chances to win

At the moment there are 11 players with a real chance to win the tournament. I think everyone at +6 or better is still in it.

» Feature Writer Alan L. Hammond - Tiger

Woods has never come from behind to win a major. Amazing. Is he playing well enough to do it today? I don't think so. On a day when several are putting up good scores, Tiger isn't. He's off his game so far.

» Feature Writer Alan L. Hammond - Tiger again.

He's displaying some body language and actions we haven't seen for some time. He simply doesn't look like he's ready to make a move.

» Feature Writer Alan L. Hammond - Thanks

Thanks to everyone who viewed today. Zach Johnson is a worthy champion. He held his composure when many other champions folded. It's always great to see a professional give credit where it is due and give thanks to the Lord. But that won't be much discussed tomorrow.

Thanks again.
