Fremont's Summer Breeze Golf Course offers a fun, unique and challenging layout for golfers of all skill levels.
What do you do when you purchase a bowling alley and inherit acres and acres of corn fields? Fremont Lanes' owners Randy Busch and Red Meyette faced this very dilemma. Their solution? Convert the fields into a Par 3 Golf Course. Located about 20 miles from the city of Muskegon and just under an hour from Grand Rapids, the city of Fremont (in Newaygo County) is best known as the headquarters for the Gerber Baby Food Company. Fremont's Summer Breeze Golf Course is just a few miles outside of the city limits. Designed by one of its owners (Red Meyette), the course provides quite a few challenges for the experienced golfer, but offers a workable layout for the novice.
