Golf Resorts Offer Special End Of Season Packages

In the midwest golf season ends in early to late October. To end their season, many golf courses and resorts will offer tremendous golf specials and deals.

The midwest is home to some of the most beautiful golf resorts in America. Many of these resorts have been featured in national and international travel and golf magazines including Golf Magazine, Travel and Leisure Golf Magazine and Golf Digest. During peak season, these resorts can be somewhat expensive. Nonetheless, as the resorts near the close of the golf season, many of them offer great golf and lodging deals.

Fall Golf Packages In Michigan

Chosen by Golf Digest as one of the 25 Best Family Golf Resorts (2007), Grand Traverse Resort in Acme, Michigan (just outside of Traverse City) is offering great golf specials for the end of the season. Grand Traverse offers a two night golf get away for about $300 per person. Fees include accommodations for two nights, 2 rounds of golf with cart, 2 breakfasts, and range balls before your round.

Another course in Michigan offering fall specials is Boyne Mountain. This resort offers a Fall Unlimited Golf Package which includes overnight accommodations, unlimited golf on five spectacular courses, breakfast and a bucket of range balls before each round. The fee per person starts at $99 during the week, and $119 on weekends.

Fall Golf Packages In Wisconsin

Be one of the first to play on the new Wild Rock Golf Course (the club just opened this year). The Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort in the Wisconsin Dells offers an extremely economical golf package for the Fall 2008. The package includes overnight accommodations, and 18 holes of golf with lunch at the Wild Rock Golf Club. The package starts at $99 per night (price varies based upon room/accommodation choices).

The Abbey Springs Golf Club (at Abbey Resort near Milwaukee) awarded 4 1/2 stars by Golf Digest, offers a great Fall "Pamper and Play" Package. The package includes deluxe resort accommodations, 18 holes of golf with cart, a 50 minute massage and access to the fitness center for $149/night.

Fall Golf Packages In Indiana

Swan Lake Resort in Northern Indiana is the home of the United States Golf Academy. Their fall package offers one night accommodations, 2 rounds of golf including a GPS cart, use of the driving range and a complimentary custom fit putter. The cost of this package is $229/person. Additional items such as meals and golf instruction can be added to this package.

Other resorts in the mid-west offering fall specials include Shanty Creek and McGuire Resorts in Michigan, Blue Top Ridge at Riverside Casino in Iowa and Lake Lawn Resort and Spa in Wisconsin.
