Just as important as the brand and model of clubs, is shaft flex and swing weight. Most professionals use stiff shafts in their clubs, which are not always the correct choice for amateurs. Likewise, pros may also use normal to heavier swing weighting that probably isn't right for most other players.

For golfers who are unsure of the correct shaft flex and swing weight, make sure to visit a PGA Professional at a local club or golf shop. Most pros can fit players with the right club components. Amateurs can use the same clubs as pros, but they need to ensure their clubs are tailored to the individual to achieve maximum performance and great golf.
