The PGA Tour stars are shining as the season gets into full swing. Many are reaching top form before the Masters Tournament, including Augusta native Charles Howell, III.

1. Charles Howell, III - A consistent high-level of play has secured his spot atop the list. Although the season is still young, it looks like he is finally hitting his championship stride. He's had five top-ten finishes, including a win and a second, in seven starts.

2. Phil Mickelson - In six starts this year, Lefty has a win and a second place finish. Most of the time he has looked like a champion, but there have been some hiccups.

3. Vijay Singh - Since his win at the season-opening Mercedes Championship, Singh has had only one other top-ten. He has, however, made the cut in all eight of his starts. He isn't far off his game as the Masters Tournament approaches.

4. John Rollins - He has quietly stayed on the top-ten list all year. Rollins has two second place finishes and six top-25's in his eight starts.

5. Aaron Baddeley - He's been in the top-20 in each start since winning the FBR Open. Ranking 6th in putting and birdies holds a lot of promise heading as the Masters draws nearer.

6. Henrik Stenson - His win at the Accenture World Match Play is his only start on American PGA Tour, but his worldwide play has also been spectacular. In his five other starts, he has a win in the Dubai Desert Classic and four top-10's.

7. Mark Calcavecchia - Calc's year has been up-and-down. Last week's winner, he's made four cuts in seven starts. His best stats for the year: 3rd in birdie average; 9th in final round scoring.

8. Mark Wilson - Although a newcomer, he may be better than one may think. In addition to his win at the Honda Classic, he has made the cut in all six starts. His stats may not be great, but he has been a model of consistency so far.

9. Tiger Woods - History teaches that he'll be on top at year's end. With only two starts, one of which was a win at the Buick Invitational, it's difficult to gauge the condition of his game.

10. Paul Goydos - His win at the Sony Open has by far been his best outing, but he's been around on Sunday in all five tournaments he's entered. The veteran ranks 14th in putting and scoring average.

29. Boo Weekley - It's comical how the press treats him more like he's from Mars rather than Florida. He's a talented newcomer and ranks in the top-30 in 12 statistical categories. It's a shame he's seen as a novelty when he is merely sincere and honest, as well as being a fine golfer. Maybe people aren't used to those qualities anymore.
